The Financial Reset Will Balance the Scales Between Paper and Tangible Assets.

In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.

Today I look into the subject of the so-called Global Reset or even what is sometimes called the Global Currency Reset. I personally think that what the Reset means is basically the balancing of the scales between paper assets such as stock, bonds, and derivatives on one side and tangible assets like gold, silver, and other tangible commodities.

The scales have been tipping for too long in favor of paper assets as the U.S. national debt has ballooned from just under $1 trillion in 1980 to around $22 trillion now. In my opinion, we will know when the reset is complete once the Dow/Gold ratio approaches 1:1. I use the Dow and Gold as these two have been benchmarks for paper and tangible assets for the last century.

My conclusion is that this balancing of the scales can occur either in a gradual fashion or suddenly. My gut feeling tells me it will be sudden as I do not think the Powers That Be will be able to keep a financial crisis of major proportions at bay for too much longer.
