Success and Failure are Two Sides of the Same Coin in a Free Market.

In this Sunday report I look at two books. One of them is Nassim Taleb's new book called "Skin in the Game" and the other one is one of my favourites by Murray Rothbard entitled "What Has Government Done to Our Money".

Taleb explores the concept of risk in his book and how the establishment has issued itself a free put option and eliminated risk for themselves while the general public has to bear the costs and risks. He argues that the policy wonks, politicians, academics, corporate titans and bankers have no "Skin in the Game" anymore as they have immunised themselves from the risk of failure.

Rothbard's "What Has Government Done to Our Money" is, in my opinion, an essential read for those who want to understand the true nature of money and our present fiat money system.
