Many artists today glamour or becomes sad for not getting a picture properly drawn like it is in what is placed before them. Today, everyone wants to be regarded as a professional artist without knowing the" how" of drawing. It is so important and interesting to know how to know what you do best, as an artist you are a creator since what you do first before creating an image is to think of the concept and how you can present this image or idea on your head. To be a professional artist, there are some things you need to do to know the art of drawing and these things include the following processes;
PRACTICE
To be able to know to master the art of drawing, you need to practice often. As an artist, you need to create time to practice every day. dedicate 20-40 minutes every day to draw any kind of image or picture, doing this gives you the ability to master the art of drawing and this will make you a top-notch artist among many other artists. like people do say, practice makes perfect. practice to be a perfect artist. Practice comes with consistency and hard-working, If you are not up and doing you will not make it.
OBSERVATION
Before you draw any image what so ever take a careful look at the drawing. It may be simple or complex drawing. The careful observation through looks can make you as an artist learn a lot by taking a careful look at the image before drawing it. Doing this will help help you know the kind of method or technique you need to adopt and how best you can draw your images and pictures.
DRAW FROM A STILL LIFE OBJECT
Stillife objects are objects at static positions, you can draw things you see at static positions. fix your eyes on such images to be able to draw them well, example of still-life drawings include drawing a house, a bottle, a church, just anything. Doing this will improve you as an artist and increase your chances of getting a perfect image while drawing or after drawing.
DRAW FROM PHOTOGRAPHS
As an artist, before you can improve on know the art of drawing, you must draw from photographs in magazine, newspaper, or any other photograph, Drawing from photographs will make you position yourself for greatness, and by this, you can able to stand any challenge in the artistic field which include drawing.
TAKE A CLASS.
Taking a class from an experienced and professional artist will help to master the art of drawing. when you undergo training, you are being taught how to be successful in what you do. Your tutor will teach you the art of drawing, the mistakes you must avoid, and the do's and don't of drawing. As an artist or a trainee when you desire more knowledge, perfection comes your way. Taking a drawing class is important to an artist who wants to be successful in his career.
HAVE A MENTOR
As an artist, you need to have someone you look up to in the field of arts, you must have someone who would always guide your steps and correct all your mistakes, and at the same time someone who would motivate you and help you when you are faced with difficulty or challenges. mentorship is key when you have someone who you want to be like or aspire to be, you need to work well and be motivated, doing this Improves you.
There are some things that you must avoid to learn the art of drawing, and these things are;
Laziness: As an artist, if you are lazy and does not have the right attitude to work you won't be able to achieve things other great artists are doing and as such you have forfeited your dreams of becoming a good artist
Procrastination: As an artist, if you procrastinate you will not fulfill your dreams and ambitions of being what you have always wanted. procrastination they say is a stitch in time, don't postpone what you are to do till the next day or week.
