...Feel in love

We met in a hostel in Lisbon. We had a good connection and exchanged Facebook accounts.

Not very much, I put her name on Facebook and searched her, sent the friend request and she accepted me (does that make me a stalker?)

We stayed in touch and talked on Facebook until I decided to travel to Norway ... and see them.

I did not expect anything because I'm a Brazilian boy living in Lisbon and a Norwegian living in Bergen.

But then I booked the Marken Gjestehus Hostel (the 5-star hostel in Bergen) and drove there with an open heart. If we did not make a real connection, I would at least visit a great beautiful city in Norway, stay in the best hostel in Norway and still be a great experience.

But thanks to Thor, our connection was real. We went hiking in the mountains, she gave me these super good norwegian cakes (Sommerbolle, I think) and our date was perfect, so perfect that I changed my booking for a double room instead of a bunk bed. We had a great time at the hostel.

The double room has a window with stunning views of the mountains with the colorful houses in Bergen. It was actually one of the most romantic moments in my life. And there, in this double room in the hostel, with this breathtaking view, we fell in love, I think ... sounds kitschy, but sometimes cheesy is real.

We then traveled for months to see each other until she moved to Lisbon to work at the Norwegian Embassy in Lisbon.

Now she has to go back to Norway to study, and we will keep this long distance. It's not optimal, but it makes us travel more.
