His heart taught me about unconditional love and his stories about 3 dogs traveling the world motivated me to do the same.
I will always miss his kindness and patience.
He was not perfect but his imperfection more than perfect for me!
He did his Best and I try the same. Maybe for some not good enough but I still give my Best every day a little bit.

I think I can relate to how you feel, Mamma. I miss my father too. He did all he had to do to make us all happy and comfortable. I miss him. He passed away in 2006 and every time I listen to Luther's song, I couldn't help but shed some tears. I get stronger for every tears shed but still, never seem to get any easier sometimes.
I am so sorry about your dad, Mamma.

It's really nice to be able to remember loved once in positive ways, see the positives things people bring into our lives and accept the flaws; nobody is able to conform to all what others would like to see; that makes us individuals. Wow, that was quite serious comment from my side. Wish you all the happiness with the pathes you'll take, inspired by your dad :)
Thank you @edje ! My dad was an amazing man and it gives me hope that there is one who might be at least a little bit like him:) I should have written much more what I feel about him but I rather keep him in my heart selfishly 🔥 accept the flaws! That’s the key!
Thank goodness for our memories. They bring us both pain and joy, but most importantly they allow those we have lost to live on — remaining in our hearts and minds — vital, living, breathing, and carrying on.
