Being busy with the things of this world can make us a busy person, who lives in anguish and with a troubled mind, confused with disordered thoughts.

Marta was a prototype of many women who, even knowing the Lord, the chores of the home overwhelmed her, going so far as to complain to Jesus himself, accusing her sister Maria of not helping her.

Troubled and troubled people as Jesus called them can be known very easily, they complain a lot and live very anxious.

It's not that doing household chores is bad, but everything has its time. The bad thing Martha did was not take advantage of Jesus' visit at that time to learn the teaching that I brought her, the more she complained about her sister Mary accusing her of being unfair for not helping her serve him, but Jesus who took advantage of any situation to get a The teaching told her that she was "troubled and troubled by many things," and also told her that Mary chose the best part when she preferred to sit alone and listen to him, and that she would not take it away.
Jesus did not come to serve him, he came to serve us and to teach us to live in holiness, perhaps Martha wishing in her heart to serve him as well as possible, but it was not the best moment, she accused him of eagerness and was troubled. While his sister Maria sitting at the feet of the Master listened to his teachings.

We must not lose the opportunity to hear Jesus speak and less to take care of the things of this world knowing that they will pass but the word of the Lord will always remain.

Let us put our gaze and all our attention on the Almighty and continue to learn more about Him, and take advantage of his visits.
