South Africa's largest Snake. The Southern African Rock Python.
These are incredible animals, highly intelligent and show maternal care for their eggs and young. The female does this by incubating her eggs. She basks in the sun and then transfers the heat from her body to the eggs. After the babies hatch, the mom stays with them a few days before they disperse.
