How Crossfit changed the way I live
I used to be that fat kid who no one gives a shit about!
That's true I was fat.
non functional, no one really believed that i could actually do something.
let me tell you my story:
it was winter, me and my brother went to play Futsal with other friends and as of usual I was the one who would be there just as sub for the better players, I was bench warmer!
Finally went in and tried to play, as a fat kid I couldn't move around and one of the better ones said '' good he's in , he's nothing anyway''.
I was hurt, some fire started inside me and i haven't seen it dying after almost 10 years now.
I started running and running and just running!
I moved to Philippies and started lifting some weights and do some boxing by myself!
A few years past by and one of my gymmates asked me if i wanted to play American Football, and I just said ok lets try this thing.
I went to the first training not knowing what's coming for me!
The first action i got was me getting smashed by a chunky running back and next thing I know I was on the ground watching could! haha
but it was another start for me, i entered to football life.
I am very thankful of my football family , if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be who I am today.
And Crossfit came along!
Man crossfit was something i thought I could work hard at.
And it was! it challenged me every single day of my life, there was always something to work on and something to improve at.
Met beautiful people who don't want anything but seeing you progress and build a better version of yourself.
A community full of love and motivation, they are there for you even you fail.
They get you back up and push you to do more and even more!
And here I am, looking back and seeing how much life has changed for me.
But I am more excited to see whats next and what challenges will be thrown at me.
I'm currently looking at '' crossfit open '' next year, getting ready to see how much I can do and how far I can go.
Oh my! That is really really inspiring. I am glad you turned around your misfortune and let a rather low moment inspire you to the change you needed. Cheers, mate. And... the new you looks awesome.
Thank you very much :)
appreciate your words <3
