I got my first downvote!
I am not sure why this persona would do such a thing but it just seems nasty. This kind of thing is another reason why steemit is losing the luster.
It just makes me want to stay gone. What a petty thing and clearly this comes from a petty person.
Sucks. Are they of high influence / SP? Or just a loser? I’ve been getting downvotes too lately. But I don’t pay attention.
I keep hearing this from people.... it is like a wave going over steemit. No, it's a new account, but I was able to find the real account behind it (at least I think) which makes it seem even stranger.
Ignore it. There's a series of fake anti-spam/whatever downvoters, their votes are worth 0, and they often downvote things past payout anyway.
Just attention trolls. I think it might even be botted, so it's not even a petty person targeting you personally, but just trying to make things unpleasant as a whole.

I'm not actually too bothered, it's just rude. ha.
I think it could've been worse if Steemit was actually a lively place, with trolls that did that on posts that have relevant payout, with an amount of SP that matters.
But it's just some random trolls. And yeah, not worth attention, people who are rude for the sake of being rude. People who are trying to annoy others.

Well with a name like blah... blah ... car ... car, you know they take this blogging things seriously. We have all been hit with spam down votes recently.Ever since I have been online there have been minor nuisance like this ... comes with anonymity and exists on all the platforms... but I think it does illustrate that the down-voting system may need redesigning .

I agree, there are still so many things that could stand for a re-think here. All said and done, I still love steemit as a concept.

Yeah I got a couple of these downvotes from like 2-3 accounts a couple weeks ago. I was deeply annoyed but now I just consider it a badge of honor.
That's a great perspective on it... I also figure it if does not effect the payout it's harmless, annoying, but harmless.
