**SEC17 WK:#4: the effects of economic hardships on families **
Good Morning beautiful people welcome to this week engagement challenge sec-S17W4 titled the effect of economic hardship on families organized by steem kids and parents first of all I will like to invite my friends @josepha@goodybest @simonnwigwe to take part in this context
The economy of most of the countries has crumble due to some government policies, high price of goods and services and corruption and it is only the average and poor families that suffer the consequences
In my dear country Nigeria ever since our new president Bola tinubu was inaugurated the country is no longer the same, right from the first day that he became president .
He decided to remove subsidy , subsidy is what we used to subsidence the price of petrol in my country so that it will be cheap and so that everyone may be able to afford petrol and if the price of petrol is cheap every other commodities will be cheap and affordable like the cost of transportation, the cost of goods and services
Petrol is like the main commodity that control the prices of other commodities it is the main factor that can make other commodities to be high or low, so other past government used "subsidy" to reduce the price of petrol so that the prices of other things can be affordable and the economy of Nigeria can be stable and in good shape
Our president made a huge mistake by removing the subsidy the very first day that he came to office without proper planning for the people and our people are suffering like job in the Bible
He made a mistake of touching the main factor that coordinates and stabilize the country economy, right now all the prices of goods and services has gine extremely high.
In my dear country Nigeria our citizens hardly eat up to twice a day in fact if you eat up to three times a day you might even get kidnapped if time is not taken due to the extreme increase in prices of goods and services
There is a friend if my that live in Nyenan Abuja while he was cooking he decided to go and take his bathe and before he could come back he did not see he's pot of soup again this is reality , and that shows the extent to which our country has deteriorated due to the hardish we are facing
Recently some of my friends relocated from nasarawa state to maraba to come and search for job since the just graduated from university and they are done with their services so the rented a very nice and beautiful apartment in maraba aso b side , within a month of two the got robbed
This armed robbers came in group and the we're moving from one house to another in the midnight robbing innocent people that is how the came to my friends new apartment and break in , into their house and made away with their belongings the made away with their phones laptop and so many other tangible commodities all this is due to the hardship and the insecurity level in my country
My neighbor in where am staying can not even afford to continue to pay he's daughter school fees due to the inflation in the country , schools have increase the prices of their school fees and this man has to pull his daughter out of school but by the grace of God I was able to find him some money and today his daughter is back to school and am very happy that ma able to help out
The hardship in this country is getting higher daily , the insecurity level , the level of stealing, the level of drop outs the level of hunger and the level that prices of common commodities like garri that we used to see front has increase and no increase in the corresponding factors like salary of civil servants or the increase of minimum wages , if the country should continue like this more terrible things may still be happening but God forbid

The effect of economic hardship on families is nothing to write home about, families can't carry out their responsibilities, and prices of commodities are skyrocketing by the day.
All we need during this period is to increase our hustles, manage and not give room for wastage.

This economic meltdown has made the income of workers become useless in the sight of billings. Imagine billing becoming greater than the income itself.
How can an employee spend 70% of his or her income on Transportation. At this point, what will that individual have to survive? I hope this issue should be looked into thoroughly. Good luck on your entry.
