How to train your legs and jump higher. - Parkour Episode 3.
Hi Dlive! today i'm gonna show you how to train your legs and jump higher for parkour.
Parkour is not just about jumps, you need to build a proper strenght and technique to make your body able to absorb all the impact from these big jumps. Here are some exercises i do for my training:
- 30 calf raises with both legs
- 30 calf raises with each legs
- 50 front calf raises
- Find alot stairs, jump two and down one using only one leg
- in these alot stairs, try to go on top in the less jumps you can.
- cuadrupeds x2.
- jumps upward over your navel x5.
- find jumps that challenge your maximum jump and repeat it. (this is will push your limit)
- strides
and of course have fun!

I would also like to make a suggestion on how to make the video better. 1) There is a smudge on the camera lens. I think you noticed that. (It happens you will fix that next time. 2) You should sweep off the steps. Removing the stick, and the leaves will make it safer and will also remove distracting elements from the video. (The leaves are very evident at 2 minutes into the video.) In America, a TV Studio would actually pressure wash all the steps and walk before filming. While that might be a bit much for you to do there, sweeping the steps is easy and quick. (Even the steps in the background (2:06) or all the sidewalk at (2:16). That said I really like how you setup the shots and the angles. It is was some good photographic angles. Very awesome Video.
