My Life as a Mother

I got married 5 years ago, and we had our first and only baby 4 years ago. Our life has changed quickly when my husband and I learned that I'm pregnant, at the same time excited to have our first baby.

Being pregnant is not easy. There are challenges especially with my health. I do get sick easily, and it became frequent after giving birth. After all the hardships of being pregnant, finally I gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

There has been a lot of challenges when taking care of a baby especially within her first year. I do worry when she gets sick. Calling elderlies and ask what to do when she doesn't stop crying. I'm glad I have a mom who is knowledgeable and helpful whenever I need her help.

As she grows up, she gets sick a lot of times. It's always been my worry whenever she gets sick. In fact, she was sick few months ago, and I was worried that she has dengue. Thank God she's fine, and it's not dengue.

Seeing her smile makes me happy. I don't have to think of myself. I stopped buying things for myself. I'd rather spend my money for her.

All I'm hoping now is that she becomes a good person, and God-fearing. I hope she will achieve a lot both spiritually and secularly. With better guidance, she will become the kind of person we're hoping.

You can see my happiness whenever I'm with her. She is the source of my happiness for me and my husband. For now, we are preparing for her future, and may she achieve her future goals. All I hope is happiness for us as a family. That's what a mother wants for her family.

In the pictures, we are at the beach. It's our favorite spot to visit. It's good for her, and she loves the seawater. When everything are okay, we will go back there as a family.
