Steemfriends.org Subscription Plan

Hi all,

Firstly thank you for supporting SteemFriends.org since it released a few years ago. I've spent a lot of time working on it and will continue to work on it in the future.

To this day (and until the end of February) it has been a free service. However, recently there has been an increase in running costs, in particular SteemSQL has doubled in price. While I totally understand and support the decision, it also means that some of those costs need to be transferred to the users of SteemFriends.org.

As of this moment, I have enabled a login system for SteemFriends.org. If you would like an account, simply join my Discord server and speak to me to get an account. You will be able to use this website for free with your account until the end of February.

Starting in March, each month you will have to pay a "monthly pass" to use SteemFriends. The March monthly pass is 2 SBD. If you would like to keep your account alive in March, you will have to transfer 2 SBD to @magicmonk and type the word "March" in the memo (without quotation marks). This will keep your account useable in March only.

If you purhcase a March monthly pass sometime in March (e.g. on March the 10th), it will only cover you until the end of March. To use SteemFriends in April you will need to purchase a April monthly pass, and so on for subsequent months.

The cost of a monthly pass from April will be reviewed if the 2 SBD per user still does not cover all the costs.

Even though the service has become subscription based, I cannot guarantee that it will be up running 100% of the time. There are many factors beyond my control which could cause SteemFriends to stop working at any point in time - the break down could occur due to a disruption in any of the following services: Steemit API, SteemSQL, NameCheap domain host etc. In those cases I still have to pay for the running costs so no refunds will be issued. Thank you for understanding.
