AngularJS lesson 2 - Expressions within HTML tags, ng-model directive, JSON objects
What Will I Learn?
- You will learn to experiment with using AngularJS expressions within HTML tags and inline CSS.
- You will learn to use the ng-model directive to bind the value of HTML controls (e.g. the input tag) to an AngularJS application variable.
- You will learn to use the first two points above to change the style of an HTML element (e.g. the background color of a paragraph) instantly by typing the color in an input box.
- You will learn to create and display a JSON variable.
Requirements
- I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition (has IntelliSense for AngularJS and allows you to test the application using a local web server) running under Windows 10. Download Visual Studio here: https://www.visualstudio.com/downloads/
- You can still follow the tutorial with another text editor but you will need to find another way to test your application on a web server.
Difficulty
Intermediate
You should already be familliar with HTML, CSS and Javascript, otherwise you may find these tutorials difficult.
Description
In this series of tutorials you will learn how to make a dynamic Single Page Application (SPA) with AngularJS. This means that the user will not be loading entire new pages on the server. Instead, appropriate resources are dynamically loaded onto the page as necessary in response to user actions.
