The Fun Side Of Things!

Do you want to see a baby Chameleon grow into his colors?

No?

Well, you really should because Chameleons are cool.

I have a long list of favorite animals. Chameleons are quickly making their way to the top of that list. I never imagined I would own one. Before owning a chameleon, I thought they were kind of creepy with their eyes moving all over the place.

Ugh, wtf.

One day my husband brought home two Chameleons. It was a father Chameleon and his baby. First, I seen the father. His colors were vibrant but his eyes were still creepy. Then, the baby showed up. I had no idea that baby Chameleons were so cute. Where have they been all of my life? They are super tiny when they are babies. The fun part of owning a baby Chameleon is that you get the chance to watch the lizard grow into their colors.

This little guy is lacking in the color department right now. This isn't fair to him though because I am comparing him to his father which is seriously a beautiful Chameleon. I'll show you him soon. The first time I held the father, I was not really a fan. I don't like snakes and they wrap their tails around you like one. Gross. After a while though, I got to know them and I said to myself, "Hey, these things aren't so bad." I then caught myself holding them a lot and constantly watching them . They managed to sneak their way right up to the top of my list.

Panther Chameleons typically don't develop full-coloration until around 18 months old. At 6 months old, they can start to show color. However, mine is not. I wanted to share this journey with Steemit. About once a month, I will post an update on this little guys color change. Below, I will introduce you to his father...

This is Rango. I told you he was a beautiful lizard! Both of those pictures are the same lizard. I hope you all will travel this journey with me so that I can continue sharing with you just how amazing these animals really are. It will be a surprise for all of us to see what colors he turns out to be. Make sure you follow me so that you don't miss an update in the future!

By the way, the little baby Chameleon still needs a name. Any suggestions?

Please check out my most recent blog.

It is a true story.

If I had died on June 17, I would have left behind my 5 day old newborn baby.

In 2014, two different hospitals dismissed a life threatening infection, one of which is known as one of the best hospitals in my state.

I almost died...
