Thoughts on parenting and about a good, good Father
It's been three weeks since our baby love actually came into our lives. How much different everything else is now! Everything revolves around him. Every single detail regarding his tiny, beautiful and precious being is infinite more important than anything else in the world. Literally, our lives are hooked. Infinite love! We could spend hours looking at him, analyzing every single detail of his fragile being. Have you seen baby little hands, with tiny perfect fingers?! They are a piece of art! How about tiny feet, with perfect toes, moving and trying to stretch?! Fascinating! Sometimes I have to really make myself not kiss him or touch him, so that I will not wake him up. And the smell! O, my gosh, I love his baby smell. Seriously, if people would make a perfume with baby smell, I would buy it!
All of a sudden, things like baby sounds, baby moves, baby clothes, baby baths, diapers, pacifiers, milk, burping, and even baby poop are very important details, and the world can go around without us because we are busy! We have a tiny little creature that we are madly in love with, totally dependent on us, and we love it! We have a handsome little boy. A son of promise! A blessing from a good, good Father!
And that brings me to what I actually wanted to say in this post. How much more God?! If we, finite creatures, with a finite capacity to love, are able to love someone with such a passion, how much more our heavenly Father!? He created us to be like Him, to display His glory, to have fellowship with us. He created us beautifully and He knows us! He knows even the hairs on our head! Every single detail about us, no matter how insignificant it might seem to us or to other people, is of infinite importance to Him! His eyes are always on us! Even the 'poop' is important to Him. He sees it all and He loves us for who we are, for who He created us to be, for who we are becoming daily, while we behold His goodness and His beauty! Infinite love comes from Him! Have you met Him? Have you accepted Him into your life? If not, I challenge you to do it. Your life will never ever be the same!
