My Experience On Steemit: A Lesson To Newbies, Essentials For Growth On Steemit

I joined steemit in February 2021, though not too long ago but I have had such great experiences on steemit which has groomed me very well and I will love to share with all newbies to learn.

• Steemit is not about how long you joined but how you yearn to learn.

I joined steemit not too long ago but what keeps me groomed and on track is that I always love to learn. As a newbie it’s normal to make mistakes, sometimes plagiarism, content writing mistakes among others but what makes you grow is your ability to learn from past mistakes and not repeating them. I still make some mistakes but I’ve learnt not to make them again. I ask questions from steemians who are good and I learn from them, and this is what can groom you and make you better on the blockchain.

• Don’t look at the earning aspect of steemit but rather the learning aspect:

O yes! Steemit is all about block and earn but I first see it as a block and learn platform. Since I started seeing the blockchain as a block and earn platform it has really been great. I have developed my writing skills and I have really learnt a lot on steemit. Steemit has broadened my scope of learning and understanding of technology.Also take up challenges by partaking in contests and trust me you will end up giving great inputs you didn’t expect to give. As a newbie don’t focus more on the earning aspect of steemit but rather the learning aspect.

• Join a community of your interest and better yourself there:

There are lots of communities on steemit; steemfoods, promosteem, steemghana, worldoffootball etc. Based on what you are interested in, join a community and better yourself there. If you love cooking then steemfoods is the best place to be, create good contents and consistently be posting there. Find your interest and fit in a community that suits your interest and that is what I do and it makes me better.

• Join meetings and be sociable:

Steemit is not a lonely road but it entails teamwork. Anytime meetings are organized there is something new to learn. I often join meetings organized and anytime I join I learn something new which makes me better. Be sociable as well so that you can freely ask questions and learn from other people on the blockchain.

• Invest in yourself and in the blockchain by powering-up:

Powering up is one of the good signs of a great investor. As a newbie don’t withdraw all the earnings you get on steemit but rather invest by powering up. I have learnt to power up and this in a long run helps me and also builds the blockchain.

• As you groom yourself on the blockchain, promote steemit to right investors and be their mentor:

As you grow on steemit, you should also invite people to invest and also benefit from steemit. Give them the facts about steemit, don’t give them false information about steemit. Get investors who are ready to invest and to be invested in. After you sign them on, be their mentor and guide them till they become better on steemit.
