I am newborn to Steemit. As it is beta, looks rather rough to me. Main disadvantages are that is little bit to techie, requires little knowledge of blockchain technology. Time to access, in my case was around 10 days, unacceptable for social media. Additionally no user friendly interface makes it more diffcult to post compering to its competitors
