I Went Oldest Buddhist Temple in Full Moon Poyaday...

Yesterday Every Buddhists had leave day in Sri Lanka like me. So my family decided to go most oldest temple in Sri Lanka very reach my living village for worship our religious leader Lord Buddha. Firstly I showing you entrance gate and fool moon nicely delightful on the sky like light decoration. I see over 20 foreigners visit there and take video records. I have shown you main three Buddhism properties of every temples. Firstly one is Dagoba and then Oldest Bo tree and finally Buddhist monk here through video.
Probably you have different feeling how we worship there. Unfortunately I visited there at night. If I had to go there before 5 pm you can see nice imagine there. Every Buddhists very likely worship to Buddha using flowers, instant sticks, candles etc...We believe our religion as well.

Just 4km inland from Unawatuna, the Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya is a quiet rock temple with a 9m reclining Buddha. The mural-covered walls are painted in the typical style of the Kandyan period. Monks have been living here for at least 1500 years. You'll seldom find crowds here, which only adds to the appeal. As you ascend the long flights of stairs, there are good views over the rice fields.

Yatagala Raja maha Viharaya located in top of the mountain. Some of difficult to climb mountain to older peoples. But already made supporting iron bars for climb. There are huge rock stones indeed. Next time I want to go there early. Then I can show you clear picture. But you can be enjoy at night time with Buddhism noises.
