How are you all? I believe you're spending great weekend with your beloved once. Today I wanna sharing my travel blog when I go Jaffna after finished 30 years war against terrorists.

We stopped for a short rest on a plain with several palm trees. Now Jaffna is at peace. How tortured the people of that war were in those days. Ice palm / Palmyrah in English is spread in the North, North Central and Eastern regions of the dry zone of Sri Lanka. The Kalpa Tree in the Northern part of Sri Lanka, the palmyra tree has many benefits from the people of the North and the East.

There must have been a biggest war in these lagoons. The entire area may have been empty. Now you can think peace is the most important key for improve community life. Plants and trees came right track and already started to show their own (green) color to the environment.

Then we reach to beach area. I saw that was not perfect place for swim because big sea waves attracted strongly to the beach sands. Also no more coral reef wall for the reduce big waves. But some peoples reached beach area for be cool who were go the Jaffna.

In the above image you can see the ruins of a bridge built across the sea from a landfill in ancient times. But I couldn't met right person who was know correct information.

During the war, naval activities were common in this area. But now sea also be calm. She's mood so good. Jaffna can be considered the headquarters of Hindu-Tamil culture in Sri Lanka today. But archaeological evidence testifies to the fact that Buddhist culture was prevalent in other parts of Sri Lanka, as well as in the far north, in the early days of Lanka's history. After the collapse of Polonnaruwa in the 13th century, the Jaffna Peninsula, or Nagadeepa, gradually developed into a separate territory.

Then I have found war memorial built up that place. Actually those memorial very important to show our future generations because they don't know old history. The existence of the nearest hub to control trade routes from India further reinforced its existence. In that way, Jaffna has been able to create an independent state that can influence Sri Lankan politics, as it did today. Accordingly, the historic fortress of Jaffna and the ruins of its present day ruins are a visible Dutch fortress and a collection of archaeological monuments.

Most of the buildings of the Portuguese, Dutch and English periods reflect the architectural features of the period. The buildings have been destroyed by the war for nearly 30 years.

The main road built like high way. But there wasn't traffic because more vehicles couldn't find there.

That's recently modified railway station. My eyes couldn't believed is that railway station. Those days railway was destroyed. After finished war, railway authority prepared plan for modification here.

Temples, churches and temples are visible in Jaffna today. It is indeed a supreme initiative to enhance inter-ethnic cooperation. I think humans are common. Everyone have human right to live on the planet. So don't need to fight against religious purpose.

Shells and oysters were on display and marketed at the seaside. That was really fantastic looks indeed. I had some shells in my house. So I didn't buy any shells here. But this was really big than my shells. If you go some journey, don't forget to buy memorable thing where you'll go.

They Sri Lankan navy officers walking around this way. Exactly Jaffna seems beautiful and developed. On the light pillar's kept Buddhism flags. I couldn't stay there at night time. If so I can share impressive moment with you under the lights with awesome reflection.

That's memorial of the boats kept that location for exhibition. There were more boats. Someone can't use for current operation. Everywhere can see palmyrah trees because Jaffna is a dry zone.

It is a large Kovil on a small island and has exemplary wall painting that shows the unity of the nations. It should be appreciated that these kinds of creations are made in such places. The Jaffna Fort, the second largest fort in Sri Lanka during the Dutch period, is an archaeological monument that has directly impacted the war situation for the last 30 years. Although a part of the sea face of the fort was damaged by the LTTE, the fort has not been severely damaged.

I could see some farmers started to grow rice fields and another ordinary cultivation above places. They covered dried palmyrah leaves for protect their plantation from plant's enemies. After discovered Jaffna journey, I came to final conclusion. Jaffna has massive freedom this moment. See you again with another blog.
