SUSTAINABLE APPROACHES FOR THE FUTURE

Welcome dear readers of this prestigious platform, and especially those who share timely and quality information through the @project.hope community. This publication will present one of the technological advances with sustainable projections that will generate benefits for society as it considerably decreases emissions of polluting gases to our planet, which causes significant damage to the balance of it.
In this sense, we will describe some technical aspects behind the project 'Lacq Hidrogen' which is prepared as a trend in order to improve energy production in Europe, under strict sustainability channels. In this project, the starting point is to develop a public power supply chain based on renewable hydrogen and aspire to become the pioneers in this working mechanism, with projections of production of about 10 million tons of gas in the next decade, under flexible costs since its production will be carried out by photovoltaic energy, which will reduce the costs of the hydrolytic process applied so far that make hydrogen production economically unsustainable over time.

Methodologically the process follows the common hydrolysis route, the marked difference lies in the use of photovoltaic energy that will reduce fuel production costs in environmentally friendly conditions. For storage, the aquiferous areas of Teréga, Spain, will be used, since there are still no places foreseen for storage, taking into account the flammable nature of the gas, it must be at low temperatures in order to limit the risks due to its combustion.
We must take into account that hydrogen will be only the fuel and the machinery will be adapted to this new product, a process that will generate a 100% renewable energy, without waste to the atmosphere, de-carbonized and clean, which will avoid the emission of approximately 700 thousand tons of carbon dioxide into the air in periods of one year.

On the other hand, the project will be a great boost to the country's economy, generating 1200 direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs throughout the process from its inception to the daily advances that are expected, best of all is that the system is designed for large-scale operation so that not only will supply the vital fuel to Spain, but will allow the export of the same.

Hi @franyeligonzalez, certainly the energy issue is of utmost importance for many of us who are in the blockchain world, although we can say that we consume few resources these have become valuable for this type of work. But beyond the individual, the importance of the project is seen in the collective and the benefits it can bring to the planet.
