BEYOND CLIMATE CHANGE// Challenges for the future

Welcome dear readers of this prestigious platform, continuing with the thematic approach related to climate change, this time we will focus on the study of those challenges that we must face in the face of the substantial changes that are visualized in the short, medium and long term in the different ecosystems that make up our planet.

In this sense, from my point of view, the first thing we must do is to reinforce Environmental Education at all levels of formal and non-formal education, by this I mean that this philosophical current must be part of every individual in our societies, where the environmental issue must be above our economic and social pretensions or in the least case that a balance between these fronts prevails.

It is certainly not an easy task, and the actions of the leaders of each nation are fundamental to achieve a sustainable ecological model that will allow us to counteract the climate change that threatens the planet's species. Based on this, the following question arises:

What are those challenges that we must face before climate change?

For some, the above question may be somewhat trite and repetitive, so I invite you to give an accurate opinion from your internal contribution before continuing reading this article. Now, being objective, the answer to the previous question depends on the behavior of each individual in the face of the problem, which is why we must consider that global warming is a problem that affects us all, this generation and future generations.

The latter will be the most affected, knowing that they are not responsible for this affection, but they must also participate in the solution, so it is assumed that global warming is a problem that must be addressed multilaterally, which requires the development of a mechanism and evolution in the face of inevitable changes.

Based on the above, changes are needed on a large scale and where there is a new conception of our ecological systems, inequality and social justice for all. As I mentioned in my previous publication, our main challenge in our time is to achieve a 550 parts per million reduction in carbon dioxide concentrations, which will open up a 50% chance of not increasing the planetary temperature by two degrees.

We must also think about the use of clean and renewable energies that allow us to stabilize the carrying capacity of our planet. Therefore, if you have found this information useful, I invite you to leave your contribution in the comments section.
