Hi, steemians! Today I want to show you one interesting historical tradition. It is the custom to mark 12 o'clock,noon. We are now in the Naryshkin Bastion of the Peter and Paul fortress.

Built in 1703. At first it was wooden. But later, in 1720, was rebuilt from stone and brick.

Привет, steemians! Сегодня я хочу показать вам одну интересную историческую традицию. Это обычай отмечать 12 часов дня, полдень. Мы отправляемся с вами в Нарышкин бастион Петропавловской крепости. Мы находимся внутри крепости. Чтобы всё здесь рассмотреть. С наружной стороны всё выглядит как мощное каменное укрепление. Нарышкин бастион это особо мощное укрепление в Петропавловской крепости. Имеет название в честь сподвижника Петра Первого. Который в те времена сам лично курировал строительство самой крепости вместе со своими верными помошниками. Возведён в 1703 году. Сначала он был деревоземляной. Но, позже, в 1720 году был перестроен из камня и кирпича. Над башней развевается флаг крепости. Он как символ могущества и непобедимости. Башня была построена в 1731 году под руководством Доминика Трезини. На верх ведёт большая и крутая лестница. По которой желающие могут посмотреть обзор сверху. Мы можем видеть оборонительные орудия. Конечно это современные модели. Просто для наглядности. Конечно орудия той эпохи выглядели иначе. На представленных макетах мы можем видеть их примерный вид. Солдаты той эпохи в своём обмундировании имели такой вид. Экспонаты из музея восковых фигур хорошо передают эти образы. Можем видеть другой персонаж эпохи Петра первого. В XVIII–XIX веках на территории бастиона размещались кузницы, различные мастерские и помещения для артиллерийских и оружейных дел. В настоящее время здесь расположены музейные экспозиции. Исключение составляет только одно место. Оно расположено на стене Нарышкина бастиона. Вы видите сигнальные орудия. Отсюда каждый день в 12 часов раздаётся пушечный выстрел. Это такой обычай отмечать полдень. Всё началось с указа князя Меньшикова. В то время далеко не все люди имели часы. Они сверяли свою жизнь по звону колоколов или по солнцу. Но ведь всё это приблизитьльно. И только выстрел из пушки гремел, сообщая о том, что наступил полдень. Традиция эта продолжается и по сей день. Мы - жители города, ежедневно слышим этот выстрел. Останавливаемся на секунду и просто улыбаемся друг другу.
