Happy 1st Anniversary Steem Srilanka |My Steemit Journey | 10% For SL Charity

So we are going to celebrate 1st anniversary with our wonderful community steem- srilanka. Steem srilanka is literally a wonderful community due to many reasons.

Last October 26th I joined this amazing platform. My friend @dilshan96 Introduced me to steemit and I'm soo thankful to him. So next month I'm also completing my 1 year anniversary with steemit.

First I didn't have a clear Idea about steemit but I was able to to catch everything really fast because all the members including @randulakoralage. She's always ready to help anyone. So far we had 2 zoom meetings for discussions and today we are going to have our anniversary zoom session 🥰.

Steem srilanka brought me a good set of colleagues. Even this is an online platform members have a really good connection. Also we have a telegram group to share anything related to steemit . Through Discord we maintain connection with international members.

I learned that steemit is not just another social media. It has many different path. You get upvotes for your writings and also you can invest. Along with that you get a knowledge about crypto currency. I felt cryptocurrency is a good path. So far I I have reached 1750 steempower. I can reach 2000sp soo soon.

I organized two contests in the community so far. I got good responses for both contests. It was a good experience for me to engage with new steemians.

The most significant and the part I love the most is our sl-charity program which we are continuing soo successfully. I was able to organise the very first charity even with my brother @chathux . It was my very first event with school kids. We provided learning aids and sport equipments for students.it's an unforgettable experience for me.

I earned lots of things from steemit. The amount of experience and getting to know good friends day by day is really valuable. I used my steemit income to get clothes and some gifts for my family. I saved sone of it for our new house because I want to decorate it nicely. Also I bought some little things for me few times. I'll share what I got for house in future ☺️.

I'm soo thankful admin, moderators , members and delegators for all the support . It's the reason for the successs of steem srilanka community. I hope we will definitely reach 1 million SP goal in our next anniversary....
