Om audio recorder is s high quality long term sound recording Android device, om recorder is also an open source project.

Proposal

My proposal to this application has to do with arranging of recordings,
Now I notice that audio recording applications compare to note talking application does little to arrange records for easy accessibility.
My solution to this will be the introduction of categories to om audio recorder.
For instance you're recording a series of events, what you do is to add them under one category, so when you want to record the same event another day, all you have to do is to add the new record to that category.

Mockups / Examples

This application currently stores all recording in a list and has only two options which are to
Rename and delete.
But no option of storing related records under one categories.

Now I'm proposing a third choice which is to categories your recordings, so if you're recording a news series all you do to add your new news record to that former category or you create another category

Now that am done categorizing my recording, to sort out this recordings will be easy

Benefits

The benefit of this feature to om audio recorder is that it's gives user easy access to related records, and also this application may be one of the first audio recording application to include this feature
