35th Anniversary Since My Ordination

Our church so thoroughly surprised me today with a recognition of the 35th anniversary of my ordination. (December 29, 1983) I had no idea. I knew that Saturday had been 35 years since I was ordained. But my head was in preparing for preaching and the New Year.
The church went over the top by inviting the Hockley’s, Bohannan and family and, to my great delight, Mike Riggs, the man who took me to church the first time, discipled me in the faith, was my best man at our wedding, and encouraged and supported me through Bible College and my early days in the pastorate.
They had also put together a video with Pastor Fred Scudder, Pastor Kevin Birdsong, Pastor Rick Wilder, Pastor Darrin Goodrick and Bro Mark Tanguay.
