Have you had a situation where you have a tiny bit of hope, that someone might be different. But as usual, you figured the answer. Then, you only wait when it happens. And when it does, you told yourself ' I told you so'.
And that kind of scenario happens a lot in my life.
It took me a while to be self-conscious. But now I really do. Nothing surprises me anymore, especially when it comes to a human error. Us, human beings are flawed. Perfect is only an adjective to describe someone's desirable elements, qualities, or characteristic. Thus, My definition of perfection and yours is different.
Moreover, we exist by having certain standard towards everything in life. And that leads to having an expectation. When someone fail to meet our expectation, normally we're disappointed. But what if it IS a recurring situation?
As often as these things happened to me, I am still trying to be as positive as possible. So, how do I keep my positivity afloat?
I have a daily affirmations that I keep chanting every morning when I wake up. Especially before I meet or dealing with people.
What worse can happen? I've been into numerous near-death experiences, I broke my heart countless -now it's only crumbs, I lost the people I love, I was penniless, I know what it was like to be depressed, and I know what it was like to be addicted.
Thus, I commit that I will love someone selflessly and that's okay if they don't love me back.
I know that I might have a companion and that's okay if they leave me.
I know that I can have money one day, then wake up penniless.
It's alright and everything is going to be fine. Life goes on as long as I am still breathing.
Someone told me that it might sound, I challenge the universe. But seriously, a little of challenge is a great way to feed my soul with senses and emotions. Although for most part, I can predict a very mediocre plot. Still It never gets old to see how I ended up upsetting myself and then I'll have more stories to tell, only with different characters, setting and mood.
To visually describe this situation,
if someone ever comes to me and said ' come with me, I'll ruin your life but it'll be fun' this is what I'll do,

Any feedback, comment, thoughts, personal experiences are appreciated. Write me on the comment section and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The best way to conquer the world of humans is to practice being you and being happy with that. The happier you get at being you, the stronger you get and that includes trusting your instincts and judgements more whilst not being afraid to act upon them.
(But this means all of the you's have to practice at being them, it's a lifetime exercise i think. improving the family you, the work you, the playful you, the grumpy you, etc.)
But then it shoudn't really matter too much about who you meet or whether they are good or bad in the end because you become more confident and too happy to have others bring it down, more aware of your wants, needs and goals and how to achieve them. Strong enough to close a door completely on someone/s if needed.
Hopefully then, when you feel someone is going to bring you a bad vibe, it will be easier to avoid completely, find a funny or amusing side to things and keep moving on. The more you find your own pathway, the more often you automatically bump into the right likeminded people to connect with.
That's the theory anyway ... :o :)
Hello @grottbags, that's a very thoughtful comment. I truthfully never read carl jung which now, you've convinced me that I really have to. I would agree that practicing to be ourselves can be a way to conquer the world of humans. I think, I know couple of examples in mind which are mostly unique individuals who embrace themselves and the world just find its way to accept and like them.
Thank you for your time reading my piece.
Have a great day 😊
