There's nothing exceptional nor incredible about two scoops of Gelato. Nevertheless, for me, A Gelato is more than a frozen mixture of milk, sugar and cream.

In 2016, I had my first Gelato with a bestfriend of mine whom now I have lost touch.She took me to a legendary gelateria in town after I returned from a recovery prior the accident.Formely, I thought it simply was a normal ice cream like I had all my life. Yet It was totally different from the conventional products out there. Not only that, I was amazed that the price was out- of- sight for only two scoops. Later I learned, it was because the high quality product they offered and the environment that was instagrammable - a decent place for personal instagram feed in order to flash a beautiful artificial life.

If my memory served me correctly,I went there wearing a flashy dress my amom had just given me with fresh hairdo I just got couple days before returning. The gelateria was located at the heart of touristy spot in town. The place was always overcrowded by students and tourist almost everyday.That day was rather sunny and the place was full thus we were seated nearby the exit door. Also,that day, two scoops of Gelato was very expensive for both of us. Although, we both weren't the cliché broke college students but our allowance wasn't liberal enough to think it was a cheap dessert.She and I were simply college students who just entered sophomore year with a thirst to be independent.And in there, we both were laughing to our nonsense jokes and dreams we wanted to have in the next 5 years which include, eating more gelato but obviously, in Italy.However,I couldn't really recall all of it yet we were content. Both of us, scooping each other Gelato and enjoying the moment. Thus,It was the most delicious Gelato experience in my life.

Then, about four days ago I went to newly opened gelateria. It was located just couple of blocks from my resident. As I got into the place, there were so much difference on how I thought about a Gelato. It wasn't expensive dessert anymore nor a very good experience.That two scoops I had, weren't as flavorful as I first had it. Despite the look,it tasted blend. Perhaps, it was because I was surrounded by people with their friends who were laughing and chattering to some nonsense I used to do. Yet, I was there with only my notebook and a pen.I couldn't believe how two years made a huge difference and changed people. Then I realized the events happened were a part of growing up.

And Ciao meant both ways, either welcoming something or saying a good bye to something.
