SEC-S15W2: ''My School Life"

Hello Steemians

How are you all? I hope you are doing well and living your life in a good way. I am @mabubakar966. Posting in 'Steem for Bangladesh' is better for me because there is an interesting contest in Week 2 of Season 15 that seems fantastic. I am thinking of participating in it and have started creating a post titled 'My School Life'.

Every person's school life is spent quite well, and in it, they observe and derive pleasure from every aspect. The word 'school' instantly creates a mountain of memories in the heart, and the heart desires to go back to school again to relive the joys of life, meet friends who are no longer with me. As time passes, the chain of school memories keeps growing. Therefore, I have decided to revisit my school life today and participate in this contest.

Question no.1

Write about your favorite subject of school life

Although all subjects were relatively easy and enjoyable to study, I had a particular liking for Urdu and English among them, my favorite subject was English. I wanted to learn and study English from the very beginning, ever since I gained consciousness. Learning English gave me immense pleasure, and I used to impress others at school with my proficiency in the language. I found the subject interesting, and it became my favorite. The reason behind my fondness for this subject has an amusing story.

I consider myself a somewhat intelligent student, which is why Sir included me in a class where weaker students were taught, and their tests were checked. Sir Nadeem was in charge of this class, and his period was also the first one. Therefore, I enjoyed bothering other weaker students early in the morning and checking their tests. This was the reason why English became my favorite subject 😂😂.

Question no.2

Write about your favorite friends in school life

Haider or Zain Edit with canva

In school, everyone has friends, whether they are from another class, junior, or senior, whether good or bad. School life is such a place where we don't showcase maturity, nor do we hold grudges, that's why everyone is a friend. I have changed schools four times, and in each one, I had different friends.

In the first school, I was very young, so I didn't know anyone there. In the second school, from 1st to 5th grade, I had a friend named "Ahsan," who was my favorite friend. I have vivid memories of spending quality time with him. I remember our families giving us money, and we would pool it together to buy and share things. He used to bring more money, and he would share his part with me.

Then, in the third school, I made two friends who are still my favorites. One was named "Haider," who still lives near my house, and the other was "Afraz," who now resides in another city. Haider and I are still in touch, and Afraz, despite being in a different city, is a close friend. When I moved to the fourth school, Afraz also joined me, and he completed his matriculation alongside me. I also made another favourite friend named "Zain" there. He is a great friend, and even though he lives in another city, we manage to meet often. I enjoyed my school life a lot with my friends.

Question no.3

Write about your favorite teacher in school life

School life becomes better when there are strict and stern teachers, at least that's what I believe. When we graduate from school, we often reminisce about the teachers who were strict but had a good heart. In reality, they want students to excel in their studies, which is why they maintain strictness.

One of my favorite teachers was Sir Asad, who taught us Science. I liked him because he was very serious during study hours, and when not studying, he had a great sense of humor. As strict as Sir Asad was, he was equally funny. He used to make funny remarks that would make us laugh a lot.

Sir Asad taught us for three years when I was in grades 6th to 8th. After that,** I joined Islamia School,** where our in-charge was Sir Boota Sahib, who became my favorite. Sir Boota handled multiple subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Islamiat. His teaching style was excellent, which is why he is my favorite sir.

Question no.4

Write about the most memorable day of school life

If we talk about it now, every day of school seems very memorable. The heart wishes to go back and relive everything, to become young again and have all the time to see it again. But that can never happen 😞.

My most memorable day is from 7th class when our in-charge, "Sir Nadeem," organized a sports competition, and it was exclusively for our class. Our school didn't have such activities that were formally organized by the school, like sports, singing, or other concerts. That's why our in-charge sir arranged a competition for our class. I participated in the competition and won. That day, we played four games. I took part in one game, the hurdle race, and won that race. There were other games as well (basket with class basket 😂, Spiner, dance). Sir gave biscuits to the winners. I carefully kept that biscuit the whole day and ate it when I got home. All these games happened when our summer vacations were about to start.

Question no.5

Write about school life picnic

We had a school picnic only once; my parents were strict and didn't allow me to go on school picnics. However, I managed to go once. I was in the 9th class when I went on a picnic. Our trip was to Islamabad, and since the school didn't have its own buses, we all went in a regular bus. Islamabad is about 400 km away from us, and we enjoyed a lot on the way. I had never enjoyed so much on any picnic before, and I haven't been able to do so in my entire career.

There were three of us friends – Haider, Mehar, and me. We had a great time together. In Islamabad, we first visited Faisal Mosque, then the monument, followed by the zoo, and finally, we went to Ayub Park. Every place was amazing, but we had the most fun at Ayub Park.

The return from the picnic was also memorable for us; it started at around 10 o'clock at night after a two-day stay in Islamabad. On the way back, we sang songs and even tried to mimic Sharukh Khan's acting. One of our fellow students, Zohaib, even danced with the bus pole. Those moments are still etched in my memory just as they were back then. It was an unforgettable trip that I will never forget.

Question no.6

Writing about the saddest day of school life

My saddest day in school life was when I had a fight with my old friend named Arslan. The fight happened over a pen. In the third lecture, I asked him for a pen, and he forcefully threw the pen towards me. It hit my hand hard, causing me pain. In response, I immediately threw the pen back at him, and it hit him too. During the break, we confronted each other, grabbed each other's collars, and had a significant brawl.

On that day, our teacher, Mr. Imran, who taught us math in the 8th class, severely reprimanded both of us. Our homes were informed, and we faced consequences from our parents. It was a day full of scolding and punishment. Interestingly, the twist in the tale is that the very next day, we reconciled, and we became friends again. That sad day turned into a lesson, and we moved forward as friends once more.

Ending Thoughts

Participating in this contest has refreshed my memories once again. School life is a beautiful journey, filled with friends where there is no room for hatred or pride, and bonds are formed from the heart. In school, we learn to live and understand life in the right ways.

¡Saludos amigo!😊
