Come spend a day at the lake
checking out the various wildlife

It's time to go outside!


Welcome back to my nature photography blog on Steemit! All of my photos that I share here are 100% original content created by myself, @Ma1neEvent. I take my photos with a Nikon d3400 camera, and I don't do a lot of after editing other than adding my name or zooming in a bit. I need to learn more about photo editing, but for now, I hope you enjoy these new nature photos!


Today we are back at the lake where I have a small cottage. I love sitting by the water, and watching all of the different wildlife around me...


I was joined again by some beautiful mallard ducks!


They were enjoying eating bugs around the water Lilly plants...

They love to dive down looking for food...


It is hilarious to watch them do this... haha!

The white Lilly flowers are still in bloom on the lake surface...

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a honey bee...

I always enjoy seeing them enjoying
the different flowers near the water
and up on the shore.


The lake is my favorite place to be...
I hope one day I will be able to retire here!


The Steam rising up off of the lake
as I think about my Steem Blog... haha!

    Other than Acadia National Park - where would you recommend a photographer visit (preferably close to Boston as I know Maine is huge)?

    I'd like to go on a few day trips after Labor Day.

    Anywhere along the ocean is beautiful... camden, belfast, rockland, bar harbor. The further north you drive it's more forest wilderness type scenery.
