Earlier this spring, I felt the drive to at least ATTEMPT to try to grow some of my own vegetables.
I reside in an apartment, but I was able to germinate seeds and get a few various veggies started. I had green peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce all going at one point.
At the beginning of the summer, i brought most of them to my cottage in the woods to grow outside in containers. I wasn't sure what to expect. There has been a little bit of bug eating leaves issues, but overall they are doing quite well!
Gardening for the very first time this year!

A few tomatoes coming in, i have about 13 so far!
The green peppers are doing pretty well so far too, i have about 6 pepper plants.

I've really been enjoying the experience growing my own vegetables from seed. Hopefully I get a decent little crop. Next year I'll go much bigger with the garden!

This is just awesome, vibrant healthy looking plants and starting on a manageable scale, I think you may have a naturally green thumb! Keep us all updated on the progress. I just love watching things grow, gardens and gardeners. ~ Mr Dingo :-)

I love your posts. We waited too long this year to start the veggie garden. I am, however, growing tons of unwanted mushrooms in my flower garden. They are making me crazy! I pluck them every day and still they keep germinating like weeds!
