RE: Kettlebell Connect - Six Weights in One and Six Axis Motion

in #steemhunt6 years ago

Kettlebells offer a great range of workout options, so it's a great starting point to add the tech elements/add-ons to.

With the range of motion being tracked, the app has plenty of data to work with - but the success of the product will very much depend on the app (and how it displays the data it collects).

I've not looked into what the app does offer, but...

The app, at it's most basic level, should (and I think does) allow you to track the weight, reps and time of your workouts - for a basic read on your progress/fitness level.

But it could, and should also track (through all its available sensor data), whether you're doing the exercises correctly.

So many people exercise incorrectly, even with the most basic equipment (like dumbbells and barbells), and risk injury due to bad posture, wild movements, etc.

The sensors available should be able to track whether you are exercising with the right posture and range of motion - making your workout safer, and more beneficial - so you actually build core strength and get fitter.

Nice hunting.
