Hi my friends how are you Iyala thinks everyone is fine. I'm fine too. So get ready to participate in another awesome contest in this community. The title of this competition is drawing a parrot. Today I hope to draw a beautiful parrot in pencil art. I used a few easy steps to draw that picture. It's great to participate in such a wonderful competition to improve our drawing skills. Every week I participate in this wonderful competition. Thank you @eliany for organizing this beautiful competition.

Let's start with drawing: 👇🏾

Step 01

• First take an A4 sheet. On that A4 sheet, draw the parrot's head with a pencil like this. Take a circular shape to draw that part.

Step 02

• Then after drawing the parrot's head, draw the parrot's beak in front of the head.

Step 03

• Drag down as far as you want to draw the torso below the head. Then after completing the body part, draw the feather parts.

Step 04

• After that complete the eye parts and leg parts of the parrot. Draw a small tree branch like a parrot on a tree branch.

Step 05

• Finally, after drawing and completing the drawing of the parrot, color the body green and the beak red to color the parrot. Add teacher's color to the tree branch and color the outline of the parrot in black.

Describe A Parrot

A parrot is a bird known as man's friend that can be found almost everywhere in Sri Lanka. He has an amazing ability to imitate the human voice and pronounce certain words. This parrot is also capable of erasing man's palu by making him a pet. A parrot can be chosen as the most beautiful bird among birds. Several types of parrots are found in Sri Lanka. In particular, some parrots have a gray collar.

Where do they live?

Parrots mainly live in forested areas. They love to live in free habitats and live by making holes in coconut trees. Parrots love to live in tropical or trees and old habitats. They live in tropical and subtropical regions such as South Asia and Australia. The highest numbers of parrots are recorded from South America.

What does it eat, tell us about the lifestyle of a parrot

Talking about the food of parrots, they like to eat nuts, fruits and other plant material. There are different types of parrots and some of them will consume animal food. The parrot's beak is very strong and they have a special ability to remove the shell of nuts from that beak and eat them. Different types of parrots that live in countries like America and Africa eat clay. Talking about their lifestyle, they will live for almost 50 years. Their different types live for a long time and their behavior is wonderful. They make holes in the trees and lay eggs to hatch and they are able to keep it for several months. After their young hatch from the eggs, they take a few days to fly.

Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life? Tell us the importance of a parrot do they have any nutritional value if we are to eat it?

Parrot is a very important bird for man. Reports say that parrots are kept as pets in homes and they bring peace to the home. It was very important for man to erase the lack of man with their ability to speak, keeping them at home especially for man's entertainment. Also, these parrots are sold for more money by raising the main parrots and starting various businesses. Having a parrot in our home is important to get rid of our depressions. Parrots are eaten in different countries but not in Sri Lanka. But it is stated in various reports that they have nutritional properties.

If they are dangerous to man tell us their dangerous part

As far as I know there is no dangerous part of parrots. They are very friendly to humans and they are a bird that easily learns what people teach them like a pet. But because of their strong beak and leg parts, they can scratch the human body with those parts. Because they love nails, their strong beaks will enable them to eat human nails. But there is nothing special to say about the dangerous part of parrots.

Do you encourage us to have it at home, what do you think?

Yes, it is really important to keep a parrot in the house to keep the human mind at ease and to hear their wonderful talk style. They are very beautiful and keeping them in the house brings good luck to the house and especially they can be said to be the best of man. They will imitate the man's speech and pronounce the words. They make man happy and it is appropriate to keep a parrot at home for the happiness of small children.
