Steem Monsters started with 59 base cards. These base cards are all known as alpha cards. Unfortunately these cards were mirrored and decorated with a beta glue. This approach is still controversial today. Alpha cards have lost their unique selling point, because there is no difference between alpha and beta except for the optics. So why should Alpha cards be more expensive than Beta cards? We were promised that there will be alpha only tournaments. Also alpha gold only should give tournaments. But that's nothing tangible so far. It would bring the game out of balance, if Alpha Only tournaments get a relevant part of the prize money. So I don't expect that to happen. There will certainly be Alpha Only tournaments, but probably on a manageable scale. This poll is only about the 59 mirrored cards. What do you think? Your opinion is important!

There is supply vs demand. With conversion feature reducing the supply more Alpha cards will at least have a more collector's value.
