Hallo liebe Steemians,
willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe meines Blogs Travel around the world. Heute reisen wir nach London. Aber London im Jahr 1991. Ja so lange ist es schon her, dass ich dort war. Manche Dinge haben sich seither sicher verändert, andere bleiben immer gleich, denn London bleibt London.
Eine Weltmetropole vor uns auch nach dem Brexit. Man kann diese Stadt einfach nur lieben. Sehenswürdigkeiten wohin das Auge blickt. Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Kathedrale, der Tower, die London Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben und man könnte immer so weiter machen. Aber auch abseits davon gibt es viel zu sehen und zu erleben. Die alten englischen Taxis, die roten Doppeldecker Busse, Fish & Chips, vermutlich das beste indische Essen außerhalb Indiens und die vielen urigen Pubs mit einem guten Guiness.

Wenn ich so darüber nachdenke, wird es wirklich mal wieder Zeit für einen Besuch! Die Wachsfiguren im Madame Tussaud’s werden vermutlich schon mehrmals ausgewechselt worden sein und auch die Harry Potter Studios sind sicher spektakulär. Leider habe ich für die Zeit nach der Pandemie schon so viele Ziele auf der To do Liste, dass ich gar nicht weiß, wo ich anfangen soll.

Naja, in jedem Fall ist London immer eine Reise wert und Ihr solltet einfach mal eine. trip dahin planen. Ihr werdet sicher nicht enttäuscht!

Also genießt die Bilder und holt Euch etwas Appetit auf London. Für die Qualität der Bilder entschuldige ich mich bereits jetzt, die waren damals noch analog und ich habe sie für Euch eingescannt.

welcome to a new edition of my blog Travel around the world. Today we travel to London. But London in 1991, yes it's been that long since I've been there. Some things have certainly changed since then, others always remain the same, because London remains London.
A world metropolis before us even after the Brexit. You can only love this city. Sights wherever the eye looks. Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower, London Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben and you could go on and on. But there is also a lot to see and experience away from it all. The old English cabs, the red double decker buses, fish & chips, probably the best Indian food outside of India and the many quaint pubs with a good Guiness.

Come to think of it, it's really time for a visit again! The wax figures at Madame Tussaud's will probably have been replaced several times and the Harry Potter Studios are certainly spectacular as well. Unfortunately, I already have so many destinations on my to do list for after the pandemic that I don't even know where to start.

Well, in any case, London is always worth a trip and you should just plan a trip there. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
