After a long pause, the Sudden Strike strategy 4 returns again.

Is it again a well-developed strategy from World War II, or is it just a broken attempt to come back?

In Sudden Strike, you can play Nazi, Soviet, and Allied soldiers and play lots of places important in the war. And because no strategy is needed today without different RPG styles, the game is divided into three branches: Armored, Suppor, Inflantry. Depending on the names, it is clear that each one focuses on something else.

GAMEPLAY

As for playability, there was a lot of annoyed me at Ai that sometimes came to me badly and terribly slowed down. Another thing that discouraged me in gameplay was the zooming game world itself, when there is almost nothing to see at the maximum distance, so the battlefield orientation is worthless. And with a minimum of stumbling, you have to knock over a quarter of the map to choose the desired unity. Well, when you do it after a few, then you will understand what a trable is.
True hell, however, will begin when the units crash into the chum, which happens quite often. Some of the units are blocked and are moving in place, and the other turns confused back and forth. You can solve this by unclicking one vehicle by the other.

The next thing is, if you want to repair your vehicles or you just want to replenish their fuel and ammo, you'll be drowned to make it done.

ENGINE

It's clear from the view of the pictures that the game is not glamorous this time. Except for nicely detailed vehicles and aircraft there is nothing to be admired. At least that seems to be the first bigger battle. In the great battles your eyes will pass and you will not know where to look. The projectile reflects from the heavy armor and breaks into the neighborhood, the ice under the tanks cracks, and the smoke rises. Pawns are thrown by the force of a blast into a far-flung neighborhood, and where the shrapnel comes, there is a sudden moon landscape.

With a lot of moths, there will be so many wrecks on the battlefield that they practically block all the driveways. All this happens at a frantic pace. A sketched weather shift adds to the full visual impression of weight. The authors are also interested in the sound, each side speaks its own language. Only the music could be more. Almost none will sound.

There were some unpleasant mistakes in the game after the release, except for the pre-empted AI that at some moments did not want to run a script to continue the mission. Additionally, the game may be zapaczovat and in the meantime you can enter orders, but in many cases you have no confirmation that the order was really entered. This mainly applies to orders such as dropping passengers from a conveyor or the target of an air strike - that even went after being sent elsewhere than where I was heading, and because of that it was unsuccessful.

CONCLUSION

Sudden Strike 4 is a typical war strategy. The authors did not try to experiment and deliver only a system of doctrines, but the almost zero genre invention does not matter, it is not necessary. Fighting on the battlefield would certainly solve the possibility of a longer delay, and the AI could also be more ambitious, on both sides. But in the end, Sudden Strike 4 is fun and difficult.

Without the tactics, the distribution of attacks, the use of special abilities and the right arrangement of units, you will go very fast. Studio Kite Games has been able to keep dynamics at the game, so you will not be bored at all. In addition, some missions have been successful. The strategists will certainly not buy the robbery.
