I don't think we could tell who has AIDS if not there won't be any AIDS.

AIDS - it is really scary as it can be, this illness is non transmittable unless there is any blood contact or may be caused by saliva in contact. Well, if we were to look at the general population, we won't even know who has AIDS or who hasn't. Technological advances in Medicine has made this virus controllable.

The only time, we can really tell if someone has AIDS is unless we recognize certain symptoms. Usually, people who have AIDS have this habit of having many partners in intimate relationship or even when a pitiful monogamous spouse gets the virus due to the partner being a carrier of the virus.

It takes a lot of time before it appears on the physical appearance of a person. When that happens, it's usually too late.

Anyways, since that nowadays, due to technological advances and the increase in lifespan for those who have this virus in their body, i guess, it is sad if we discriminate them from the general society. I believe every human has the right to do what humans do. Doctors and Nurses and any healthcare officers have to constantly deal with these patients and I don't think they have a choice but they do know is the precautions to make sure that they won't get infected.

This case is similar to someone who has other illnesses. I believe that everyone has the right to live. Maybe one day, there will be a cure to combat AIDS. It will make whoever creates that magical drug a billionaire and a new industry built upon it.
