Discord Launches Game Store!

Hello everyone!

Discord is a tool that should be used by all Steemians since it's so important to meet more Steemians and meet and join the amazing communities Steem has to offer! Discord is used because it's a really light weight chat/voice provider with amazing feature communities that are always expanding and getting better with every update but the guys over at Discord seem to have bigger plans than just being the #1 chat app around the block, they are now venturing into the online distribution of games by releasing the beta version of their new game shop!

It obviously doesn't have a ton of games yet because it was just released but if someone can try to make a dent at Steam's online distribution monopoly is Discord, they got millions of users and superior community features that if integrated properly could yield amazing results!

They have also upgraded their Discord Nitro subscription service, it now works similar to a Playstation Network subscription, you not only get the features of the now called Nitro Classic but you will also get access to tons of games for free with your subscription... For now it's mostly indie games but It's a great start and I've it looks like they are working to integrate some games functionalities into discord to make hot join and easy multiplayer through discord a thing.

For now the store only has a few big hitters and a ton of indie games but for a beta release that came out of nowhere for a lot of us, it's an amazing catalogue of almost 100 games. Can't wait for what the team behind Discord has planned for the future of their platform and I can't wait too see Steem's gaming communities in Discord taking advantage of the new features to play more games together in the future!
