Good advice. @suitcasemama and I's little one just turned two and time is flying. We've definitely made some changes to try to slow things down: limit/eliminate electronics when he's awake and we started a screen-free Sunday, which has been awesome. Besides, Baby-tv is way more entertaining than anything on Netflix!
"Baby-tv"! I like it. :) Yeah, we do screen time limits as well because otherwise they turn into little dopamine fiends. Until that brain develops, sometimes we have to protect them from themselves. :)
Yup! Benefits us as well. Screens are great time-acceleration devices. Since our son joined us I'm much more interested in slowing time down :)
Kids grow up fast! 2011 we just purchased a place called our own. Now, our son is already 5 years old
They grow up quick. Really quick.
Thanks for being a father that teaches others on raising a family. Alot of father's out there do not pay attention to these simple but important detail on the fast growth rate of children these days. Look at how cute your son looks in this picture. I see transference of a value system that never fades. Thanks for being so faithful to beijg a leader in your home @lukestokes and helping others see through your perception of this.

June 2011 - I think I got my Engineering degree around the same time, give or take a few days.............my cousin who is a in Junior school at that time finished his school this year and is about to start his engineering program.
Hah! Nice. My CSE degree was 10 years before that. Does that mean I'm getting old?
Old...............nah. Some of my best friends (mind that they too are engineers like me) are 10-15 years older than me and I think that they have a heart even younger than mine :-)
Although, some days ago a 16-17 year old referred to me as an uncle - and that hurt!
