Originally, I wasn't going to include the tag 'comedyopenmic' in this post, as this a very serious subject.

But....
..... I'm also from the UK, and we have strange affinity with toilet humor.
One that seems to have by-passed by the rest of the world.
Which is the rest of the worlds loss.. (imo.)

I'm not concerned with your run of the mill, overeating until stuffed, rich food, farting...
Don't eat as much. ( And go outdoors if it's a family gathering.)

No, my Christmas warning is for the partyers in steemit .

OK, so there are no partyers in steemit, I grant you - but your friends and children might be.

OK, so not many of us have friends, but your children might be partyers.
(How the hell any children arrived is still mystery...)

Oops! I just slipped down memory lane.... I'm back now.

What I'm talking about is MDMA and Bratwurst - This being the No1. danger over Christmas...
While primarily a German ravers problem, this food stuff is passed around worldwide during the December festivities, and can catch the unaware in a potentially 'toilet exploding' situation.
This is the sole reason all German raves have plastic portaloo's and zero ceramic bowls.
Fatalities have been reduced by over 90% through implementing this strategy.
Flying ceramic shards can be lethal....

First, the chemical...
MDMA, otherwise known as 'ecstasy' (which is very apt name apparently - during the first 6 months of use - or so I've heard).

It was a chemical developed in the early part of the 20th century.
There was no intent to ever create a teeth grinding, rhythm finding, love everyone , touch everyone, and go to bed with everyone, narcotic.
No, no, nothing like that....
...It's boring, and all about stopping bleeding, so I won't bother with the the details.

Second, the sausage...

What was also discovered around the time of the mid 90's desert raves , in the Mojave desert, was the devastating effects of MDMA and bratwurst, when combined.
A German tourist - called Alf , decided to bring his bratwurst along to the rave, just in case he got the munchies later on in the night, (or early morning.)
He had 'took a couple of pills' (taking ecstasy) and was buzzing 'off his nut', (a good high), and was having a great old time.

After inviting a very scantily clad American girl to go and 'play in the sand dunes', he and his scantily clad American girl - and his packed lunch - all disappeared into the night.. why he would decide to take his packed lunch with him, will only ever be known to Alf...
He was a weird - but very nice - guy. RIP.

The story goes that he took out his bratwurst ( literally, and not a euphemism) and decided to have a chomp on his sausage (literally, not a euphemism).
10 minutes later...this was the result. (someone was so high on drugs, that they managed to take this shot...)

So stay safe over Christmas, and just say no to MDMA (and bratwurst..)

...oh, and always have a blue pill (Viagra) in yer stash, guys...it can play havoc with performance issues...so I've heard. Apparently. Hypothetically.
