Elderflower syrup with flavor of strawberries
My favorite syrup:
Ingridients
- 25 flowers of the elder flowers
- 450 g of berries, 2 lemons
- 1,5 kg of sugar, 50 g citric acid
- 2 l of water
Preparation
Dried flowers, carefully examined, place in a large pot, preferably with a lid, add sugar and citric acid. Pour everything together with two liters of boiling water.
When the mixture is slightly cool, add the purified and cut strawberries and stir well, while the strawberries are also a little wet. Then the pot is covered and cooled for 72 hours. Mix twice a day.
After three days
Bottles are sterilized in the oven, pour hot syrups as far as possible to the top, and seal well.
