Fish Pepes - Ungkot Payeh : Acehnese

How are you today, I hope you are in good health and always eager to cook with me.
Pepes is a method of cooking using banana leaves as food wrappers. This cooking technique allows a mix of spices that are rich compressed against the main ingredient in banana leaf package when being cooked, and also adds a distinct aroma of cooked or baked in banana leaves.
If you are interested to make a dish "fish pepes" I will share recipes that are easy for you to try it yourself at home.
Ingredient
- Fish
- Garlic
- Cayenne pepper
- Turmeric
- Acid sunti
- Coriander
- Lime leaves
- Lime
How to make
- Provide fish, wash and place into bowl
- Provide ingredient and sliced
- Provide young banana leaves and a little old for wrapping fish
- Place the chili green and leaves orange already sliced small into a Bowl of fish
- Ingredient mashed
- Put the ingredients smooth into the bowl of fish
- Mix well
- Wrap with young banana leaves, then cover with banana leaves older
- Light a fire in the wood or coconut shells
- Then bake the fish until mature
