"Yến" stream #24
"Yến" stream is a main way to "Huơng Tích" cave. From "Bến Đục", situated next to "Đáy" river, we walked about 1,5 km to "Bến Yến", then take a boat in "Yến" stream about 4 - 5 km to the "Bến Trong".
Suối Yến
We went to the "Hương" Pagoda in January, is the festive season to experience the atmosphere here. Sail along "Yến" stream for about 1 hour sightseeing. "Yến" stream is the main entrance of the cave and "Hương Tích - Thiên Trù" Pagoda.
Yến Stream (or Yến Vĩ) is a stream in tourist attractions of Hương Pagoda (Đục Khê village, Huơng Tích commnue, Mỹ Đức district, Hanoi).
The stream is named as Yến steam because its shape looks like tail of flying canary bird. Yến stream is the only way for sightseeing scenery of tourists in Hương Pagoda.
We go to Perfume Pagoda in festival, Yen stream is always crowded with boats and tourists. Thousands tourists will be pouring into the pagoda to pray for themselves and their family.
For those who have ever visited Huong Pagoda like me, will always remember the thrill as sailing through the Yến stream on the way to the temple.
Yến Stream has become the favorite attractions in the outskirts of Hanoi. It's interesting to be sailing, reflect and take beautiful photos. The stream is full of boats carrying pilgrims who have come to enjoy the landscape of Huơng Sơn mountain in Hương Pagoda complex.
Traveling along Yen Stream, tourists pass by landscapes, many of which are named according to their forms. On the left is Phoenix Mountain there is also Doi Cheo Mountain, which looks like an Indian python (Tran). Also on the left are Bung and Voi, two mountains having interesting legends.
Peaceful atmosphere and the simple life of the people here augment the beauty of Yến stream.
