Crazy Shrooms Trip

So I was talking to my friend (we’ll call him Adam) about what was the weirdest thing he’s ever experienced on a trip, and what he explained to me made none of the sense yet all of the sense at the same time. The best way to describe it is almost like a moment of eternity but not that.

Adam said that while he was coming down on some shrooms, and he the days went on normally. He finished school, got married, had kids, the whole 9 yards. But one night, he was in his house and he noticed something off about a lamp. He said it was like a 4 dimensional object in a 3 dimensional world (because that makes sense). He spent days straight starring at the lamp, while frightening his wife and kids. Finally after about 3 or 4 days straight of starring at this lamp, reality as he knows it just crumbles around him, only to find out that he was just then coming down the shrooms, in his perspective, his whole life was a lie.

After hearing about it, I plan on keeping a close eye on him for a while. I can’t fully comprehend what he went through because the closest thing I have ever experienced was a “moment of eternity” where your perception of time is altered.

I’m really curious about this though, and I can’t quite word it right for google. Has anyone else out there experienced something similar? Or maybe know someone who has?
