Today is mind bending.
The Gemini Sun aspects Chiron in Aries and Mercury (Gemini’s ruler) in Taurus aspects Neptune in Pisces and retrograde Jupiter in Scorpio.
The Moon is in Mercury ruled Virgo and we are now in the second quarter waxing Moon before the Full Moon on the 29th so the energy is rising.
The mind will be on overdrive, exploring and taking in information.
It’s a great day for any mental work but the aspects to Chiron, Neptune and Jupiter can bring up some angst and anxiety as some depths will be plumbed today.
There’s an edgy, critical aspect to today.
I wanted to address the overall energies.
The ongoing Mars/Uranus square (next exact dates Aug 1 and Sept 18 but this is basically ongoing for the next 4 months or so), the shifts of Chiron, Uranus and Mars into new signs, the upcoming Eclipses and multiple retrogrades occurring together are all contributing to some challenging energy.
It’s big and complex. It’s no use asking ‘when do I get a break’ or’when is it over’ as we are in the birth canal of a New Paradigm and it’s generally intense.
I do my best to give an overall feel for the day but it all depends on YOUR chart and your perceptions as to how the energies play out on a daily basis. Some days you will be totally in alignment with the energies and some days you may find it more difficult.
Please also note that a lot of what I write about is about how to tap into the energies and to make the most of them. For yesterdays post, for example, I did say that long voids can be challenging but I posted about the positive energies of Leo of playfulness to help you to be less challenged. I don’t post every day saying you will have a shit day because guess what? You read that and you will have a shit day.
Astrology gives opportunities and possibilities. It doesn’t so anything to you, everything depends on you. My aim is for you to use your free will to make the most of even the most challenging energies.
I am giving fair warning though that we are going through challenging times. The Mars/Uranus square is angry (and also radically creative) and is around for a while.
Your job is to ride the wave and to make the most of it. I can’t do that for you and I can’t stop the universe :)
