Water crises in cape Town
These photos I took today in the Paarl at the Bergrivier resort , and was shocked that the river actually dried up never ever heard of this before . The water crises in Cape Town is very bad and government has been warned about this a couple of years ago and did nothing . Prevention is better than a cure ! When will we learn ?
And here is some photos when the river is actually full and is the norm that we are used to when ever we go for a braai or just a fun filled day.
Water is a very scares commodity these days and most of it is so polluted that it can not be used for consumption by humans and or animals . I hope in the future mines and big firms that abuse this scares recourse, that is a human right will change there ways and think of our planet and the future of our children . I would never like to wish a MAD MAX scenario on any body . It is time we start taking responsibility of nature and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Thank you for stopping by hope you enjoyed the photos
Its nice they say dont throw trash in the water but thats the least of SA's worries
Its time the people stopped letting corps dictate our future.
A good way to restore the water is to impleme t permaculture
A good way to pay for it os with an ico and crypto that youbpay the workers in
Forget the government they dont love you. Only the people can fix what the masters have spoiled.
There is not time for pity this is a time for action. Its sad many have become so reliant on governments that they will waste away until somethomg is done.
Use the decentralized ideology of crypto to light the path to a better future
@masterroshi
That is a great idea but my IT skills is way to little to start something on the blockchain , Unless you would like to help with that .
Governments are so corrupt these day's we will have to stand together and create our own future's.
As things are happening now in SA i think you are going to find a lot of people starting with premaculture for there survival as food will be scares in SA
i understand your plight bro. Here in ghana it hasnt gotten bad like that but i wouldnt be suprised if the gov mismanaged the water supply. hopefully things will come together in the near future. stay strong!
Great post but really sad to see.
@sydesjokes
Thank you , yes it is very sad even our dams are almost empty but i am sure we will have a great rain season coming up as our winter is about a month away .
Awesome. Its amazing post about water
And
Water is not only one city or country problem but is world problem
Selection great words
Kept up
Yes I do agree with you it is a global problem and only a few is polluting it while the masses has to pay dearly for drinkable water .
That tends to happen when you fire engineers because of the colour of there skin. 🤔😔
@nexit
That is so sad i know, but there is nothing we can do about it , we will have to reinvent a way forward for us all in SA and we do have the knowledge to do it . My guess is it will take a while but with blockchain trans-parity is going to be the future and things are going to change drastically as everything will be public .
This is good habbit. Cannot throw the plastic bottles and other things in water because it effect on the marine life. Your post is informative.

To think we have all this fresh water and we cant use it so sad
Respect for our environment goes without saying, it is only when humans suffer after something becomes scarce that they may start to learn.
Let us hope this is not too late and rains arrive soon to replenish the rivers and streams again @louiscpt
@joanstewart
It is so true if everybody would feel the same way but most have to learn the hard way rather then prevention.
I hope it rains soon as well we need it now .
I appreciate your issue. I'm in So Calif and one good year of rain and everyone starts hosing off everything in sight, saying there's no water issue any more. This year has been the driest on record - we're heading into a bad way and we should heed your situation. Thanks for a warning reminder, we need it.
@dennisaubrn
So true, our water has become so expensiveness and all the water saving efforts doing stuff with grey water having water bins installed to catch rain water ,i just hope some of those habits will stay ,as i do not think our water price will decrease when its all over .
Very nice photo. Thank uncle for your beautiful post
Thank you
