What the heck are "Smart Contracts"?

It is rumored that "Smart Contracts" are a true revolution of blockchain technologies that will replace lawyers in the future.

Who wants to study law with this knowledge? Torment yourself for years and end up being unemployed and superfluous?

One of the advantages of the blockchain is that no middleman has to be paid, because it is a decentralized system between all authorized parties. This technology saves time and effort. Blockchains also have their drawbacks, but this technology is appreciated, it is indisputable, much faster, just as cheaper and even more secure than the outdated, conventional systems.
Even banks and governments are now using the blockchain because the advantages have been recognised.

While researching Smart Contractd, I came across the name Nick Szabo. He is a cryptologist and lawyer who recognized in 1994 that the decentralized directory for Smart Contracts can be used well. Smart contracts are also referred to as self-executing contracts, block-chain contracts or digital contracts.

This is a grandiose technology that allows contracts of any kind to be transformed into computer code, then this computer code is stored and reproduced and executed on the blockchain. The process also includes feedback from the directory, such as the money transfer, receipt of the product or service.

How could smart contracts help?

Smart Contracts help to exchange transactions in a transparent, dispute-free way and at the same time make an intermediary superfluous.

Wer möchte denn mit diesem Wissen noch Jura studieren? Sich jahrelang quälen und am Ende arbeitslos und überflüssig sein?

Eine der Vorteile der Blockchain ist, dass kein Zwischenhändler zu bezahlen ist, denn es handelt sich zwischen allen zugelassenen Parteien um ein dezentrales System. Diese Technologie erspart einem Zeit und Streit. Blockchains haben auch ihre Macken, doch wird diese Technologie geschätzt, sie ist unanfechtbar, wesentlich schneller, ebenso günstiger und auch noch sicherer als die veralteten, herkömmlichen Systeme.
Selbst von Banken und Regierungen wird die Blockchain mittlerweile genutzt, da man die Vorteile erkannt hat.

Beim recherchieren über Smart Contractd stieß ich auf den Namen Nick Szabo. Die einzige Frage, die nun bei mir aufkommt ist, welche Arbeitsplätze werden zukünftig überflüssig werden?

Wer wird denn überhaupt noch Jura studieren wollen oder als Zwischenhändler Waren verkaufen? Berufe, die im Moment noch eine tragende Reichweite haben, könnten in Zukunft der Vergangenheit angehören.

Vielleicht bleibt dem Menschen somit mehr Zeit, sich um relevanteres zu kümmern und mehr Zeit mit der Familie und mit Freunden zu genießen.
