Spring, summer, autumn and winter,
Playing around like little kids.
In spring life begins again,

A brincar como crianças pequenas.
Na primavera a vida começa de novo,
O que o inverno levou, porque o derrubou.

Tudo está numa espécie de sono,
Este cansaço implacável também me impressionou.

Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter,
Spielen umher, wie kleine Kinder.
Im Frühling beginnt das Leben wieder,

Bringt Dunkelheit und die Kälte wieder.

Im Sommer war noch alles hell und warm,
Ich sah so manche Blume und manch Bienenschwarm.

Der Herbst, er kühlte den Sommer ab.
Selbst das Grün hatte es satt.
Blätter wurden braun und gelb,
Doch schaut aus dem Fenster und seht es selbst.

So wechseln sich die Jahreszeiten,
So manch einem sie Freude bereiten.

Der Frühling ist wie eine neue Schöpfung,
Manch einer taucht auf, aus der Versenkung.

Der Sommer bringt Schwung und Elan,
Treibt manch einen zu vielen Sachen an.

Der Herbst regt zum reflektieren an,
Jedes Jahr aufs neue ist dieses dran.
Lange Spaziergänge stehen an.

Der Winter, bringt langsam die Stille und Ruhe rein,
Viele bleiben zu Hause und daheim,
Machen es sich gemütlich und kuscheln sich ein.
