what does it really mean to embrace yourself
In the aftermath of International Women's day I thought it would be really important to remind everyone that fight against gender inequality doesn't lay in women renouncing from their femeninity and sensuality and instead trying to prove that whatever a man can do a woman can do just as good. These two are not a contradiction, they can actually go together hand in hand with no conflict whatsoever. Fighting for your rightful place in life doesn't mean that you have to abandon some of the most important aspects that make your gender so special - women's beauty. We have to learn to celebrate beauty, we have to comprehend that honouring beauty of whatever form and colour is a stength too and it does not take away from a capacity to be smart, strong and successful.
