The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Ron Howard (REVIEW)

in #movie8 years ago

The story goes like this. Robert Langdon who is a symbolist and a young attractive cryptologist Sophie Neveu will start an investigation about a murder in the most famous museum in the world, the museum Louvre. The guy who has been killed is Sophie’s grandfather. Robert and Sophie are not partnered without a reason, on the victim, there are symbols and codes that are telling a story or a message for them to discover and translate it.

Those two are trying to discover the enigma that has been left for them, they travel to famous historic places to find more details for this case and to finally be able to find the key element to expose the truth about the murder.

I haven’t read the book but I watched this movie few years ago and since I am a mystery fan I found this to be a perfect movie for me. There are a lot of people that say that this movie has clarified a lot of details in the book, but since I haven’t read it I am in no position to confirm that, maybe I will give the book a chance and see which one tells a better and more clarified story.

I really liked the locations that they filmed the movie, Tom Hanks was a perfect fit for this movie, and it is a very nice project that will get your attention immediately, if you are fan of those enigma symbols that have been used a lot in our history then I think that you going to enjoy this movie as much as I have.
